Pricing for Calligraphy Work


Traditional...$2.50 per set of envelopes

(Pricing for both inner and outer envelopes. Outer envelopes only are $1.75)


Monoline.........$ 1.40 per set of envelopes

(Pricing for both inner and outer envelopes. Outer envelopes only are $1.10)


Return Addresses:
Handwritten  .... $ 0.75 per envelope
Custom font stamp (black ink) ... $40 minimum charge
($0.40 per envelope over 100 envelopes) Font matches envelopes, original handwritten.
Stamp is yours to keep afterwards.

NOTE: There is an additional $0.40 charge per envelope for dark envelopes or liners which require me to draw and erase pencil lines.


    Place Cards/Escort Cards/Seating Cards

    For clarification purposes I consider Escort or Place cards as having the guest's names and table assignment. Seating cards are name only cards that will be placed at the individual seats. I mention this in hopes to avoid confusion when discussing projects.

    Ready for framing or mounted on foamcore for easel display.

    Menus and Programs
    Camera-ready copies are handwritten and ready for you to take to a print shop or print from your computer.  You receive a high-resolution pdf and the orginal.

    Please provide approximately 10 extra envelopes per 100 envelopes (10% additional). Mistakes in spelling can occur because I'm concentrating on letter formation. You will not be charged for my mistakes.
    NOTE:  If you have dark envelopes or darkly lined envelopes please provide 20% additional envelopes.  I tend to make more mistakes on these type of envelopes.
    You'll receive a 10% discount on additional projects.  If I address your envelopes and write your place cards, you will receive the discount on your place card costs.

    Please provide a typed, finalized list of all addresses as you would like them to appear on the envelope. Below the address please have the inner names written as you would like them written. See sample below.
    Unless otherwise requested, virtually all address wording will be to the left and indented several spaces for each line.

    It is acceptable to use a combination of the inner envelope formats depending on your relationship with the guests.

    There are many websites that will guide you in the proper format for addressing envelopes. 
    You are welcome to email me your guest list in an excel or word format.

    Credit or Debit cards accepted through PayPal.  You do not need a PayPal account to use this feature. If you wish to pay by this method I will send you an invoice which has a payment link.

    Material Costs
    Client is welcome to supply any paper that is suitable for calligraphy.
    Paper for Poems, Menus and Seating charts..... material cost included in price.
    Hand Antiqued paper - $4 per sheet.
    Placecards, Tablecards and Escort cards ..... material cost is in addition to writing costs. If I supply the place card, add an additional $0.30 to the cost of wriitng, i.e. $1.00 for an escort card.

    All shipping will be paid by the customer. You pay actual shipping costs. Virtaully all shipping will be done through either USPS or FedEx. All packages will have tracking numbers. You are welcome to use any courier you'd like. Your final invoice will include shipping costs.

    If shipping is less than $1.00 you will not be charged.

    If you live in the Columbus area we can make pick-up and drop-off arrangements.

    I require a down payment for each job. This acts as a contract between us. It will typically be 50% of the quoted price. The remaining balance is due at the completion of all work.
